in 1945. Joining him in the tank are Shia LaBeouf as the religious gunner; Michael Peña, as the driver; Jon Bernthal as the loader; and Logan Lerman as the youngest and greenest member of the team. Fury is a labor of love for Ayer, Whose previous films include the thrillers Police End of Watch, Street Kings and Harsh Times. Aiming to make "the ultimate tank movie," they secured the loan of one of the few remaining German Tiger tanks from the Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset. If early reviews are any indication, Ayer's quest for authenticity has paid off.
